Book One, Grade Three, Dedicated to an Amazing Teacher from Minnesota--Mrs. J. Forever grateful!
My teacher said that's enough. Bryan, outside. I wiped my eyes and followed my teacher into the hall. This amazing lady said, "You can't allow others to make you feel bad." She then tried to lighten this deep message by saying, "You love tator tots I am assuming?" I was crying, and started to laugh a bit. "Yeah", I whimpered. "Well, I like that you are part of my class. I think many of those kids do as well. I believe they are going to be your friends for many years. You, young man, just do not know this yet". She went on to explain, "Bryan, first days are suppose to be good days, I think this will be one you will never forget but that is now up to you". Dang, I was in 3rd grade! I stopped my crying and walked into class and proclaimed, "Do not worry—tator tot is back!" Best first day ever? I would think so, forty six years later I still remember it like yesterday. Thank you Mrs. J for teaching more than just education!
I may not always control what happens to me. I DO always control my reaction to what happens to me!
Have you ever been asked that annoying question in an interview? You know the one, ‘Tell me a little about yourself?’ Many of us would answer by stating random facts, where we are from, what we enjoy doing, the responses are endless. Me, on the other hand, after forty six years, well I am finally ready to answer that simple question. Yes, with a series of books how else? They are about me. The stories, me. The thoughts, me. The experiences, me. The books, me. Motivational, emotional, personal experiences, about me. I hope you will enjoy as I expose my most motivational, inspirational experiences.
For years, I aspired to write books. As I organized my thoughts, I found the most impactful stories were based on my motivational experiences(ME)! I found passion by packaging these MEs into short stories. It is my goal that these short stories will connect with you!
I am very humbled and full of gratitude that you have taken time to visit my website. Our personal experiences all deserve to be in books. I would appreciate any feedback, ideas, or the sharing of your own stories. We all have a story to tell and it is never too late to tell your own.
